This was an assemblage I made for the Winter Art Show/Sale at Gallery 223, Lake Geneva, WI.

I brought it in on Monday, November 18th, and it sold within 3 hours!

It is meant to sit on a table or shelf, which is the reason for the back design on it, it stabilizes more so it won't tip over.

Icon Workshop - The Holy Face of Christ

 Christ Episcopal Church, Delavan, WI hosted a wonderful day of learning about Icons and a beginners course in creating one. Christ Church is celebrating their 175 anniversary, and so the Holy Face of Christ seemed to fit. The workshop led by Alice Pollock, gave us just a taste of what creating an icon is about.

Most icons take weeks or months to finish, we were blessed by Alice's expertise and interesting explanations into what creating an icon is all about. HIGHLY recommend doing this, and I am not at all a painter, but loved this workshop!

Gallery 223 Holiday Market Art

In conjunction with the Winter Art Show/Sale, at Gallery 223, Lake Geneva, WI, there is a Holiday Artsy Market Sale, running from Nov. 8th - first week in January.
These were my holiday market art offerings:

Co-Artist with Daughter, Kasey, at Lake Geneva Public Library for November

 My daughter and I are doing a joint show as artists of the month for November at the Lake Geneva Public Library.  Our art will be on display through the end of December.

On Wednesday, November 20th, from 6:30 - 7:30 pm, there will be, on the Artist Stage, a reception where we will talk about our art and the inspiration we had in creating them.
Refreshments will be served.  All are invited!
