I had some fun creating a look alike ICON of Fr. Joel, which I titled Saint Joel, for his birthday gift.I used an old ceiling fan blade, and decoupaged on it pages from the Book of Joel, from an old "rescue" Bible. And then added in 3-D the body and head of St. Joel.
I love how it turned out, and Fr. Joel seemed to love it too!
Here's a photo of the real Father Joel so you can tell how much my rendition really DOES look like him!
