Newaukee Art Bus Gallery Hopping

On the Art Bus, visiting galleries in Milwaukee, with daughter Kasey Karstetter and SIL, Lisa Los Gifford! Fun people, great stops, wonderful art, and fun times! I would DEFINITELY do this again! Great price too! (included drinks and music as we went from gallery to gallery).
Waiting to board the bus for the
gallery hopping.

Fun on the bus, music and beer or wine.

The Making of a Saint Icon... Saint Joel Prather aka Fr. Joel

I had some fun creating a look alike ICON of Fr. Joel, which I titled Saint Joel, for his birthday gift.

I used an old ceiling fan blade, and decoupaged on it pages from the Book of Joel, from an old "rescue" Bible.  And then added in 3-D the body and head of St. Joel.

I love how it turned out, and Fr. Joel seemed to love it too!

Here's a photo of the real Father Joel so you can tell how much my rendition really DOES look like him!
